“A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so.” – Mahatma Gandhi. I’ve been a technician for 12 years, and I’ve always had that passion for modified race cars since I was a child. I remember when I first started working I wanted to do that, build race cars, but there wasn’t a local shop that would provide that service. I decided I would do it, so, I started to save up money. Years later I opened 501 Automotive. During that time I learned the fundamentals of running a profitable business. The Customer. I learned their wants, their needs, how to work within their budget, but most importantly knowing that our customers are our number 1 priority. As the business continued to grow I realized that there was a void in diesel and fleet repair shops that catered to them, getting the job done right the first time in a timely manner. Now we are a full automotive repair shop providing dealership level repairs at the fraction of the cost. Most importantly we take pride in what we offer to our customers. We are constantly learning investing time and money in providing top customer service and going that extra mile for a quality repair.
